Acupuncture is one part of our holistic approach to restoring health. Typical treatments consist only of 8-10 sterile acupuncture needles carefully selected on energetic points that exist along the body that influence the internal organs to improve their function or relieve pain.

No. Acupuncture needles are very thin, flexible, and no bigger than a human hair. These stainless-steel needles produce little or no sensation.

Do I have to believe in Acupuncture for it work? Do I have to believe in Acupuncture for it work?

No. Acupuncture has been used successfully to treat animals who do not understand or ‘believe’ that it will make them better.

What should I expect? What should I expect?

Depending on the ailment, you may be positioned on your back, your stomach, your side, or seated. Treatments are very relaxed, and you may fall asleep as you lay comfortably for 15 to 25 minutes.

Are needles necessary? Are needles necessary?

No. If a patient is not comfortable with needles, acupressure, massage, cupping, tuning forks, and moxibustion are used for stimulation.
