Posture and Strength
Proper posture and strength are vital not only from recovering from pain, but also from preventing it. Physical therapy combined with acupuncture is one of the best combinations in getting you back to your physical health. When there is weakness, there is also tightness. PT can help strengthen muscle weakness while acupuncture can help relieve the tightness.
Injury rehabilitation exercises are focused on problem areas and other areas that may be contributing to the pain or weakness. We try focusing on exercises that you can also do at home on the days between treatment. When taught correctly, physical therapy should not exacerbate pain or cause pain somewhere else. Treatments can be modified for all levels, strength, and endurance.
